Handellsblatt reported that ThyssenKrupp’s Materials Services Division said that it is responding to a cyber-attack that was also targeting the group's corporate headquarters. Thyssenkrupp Materials Services spokesman said “Thyssenkrupp is currently the target of a cyber-attack presumably by organized crime. The attack was noticed at an early stage by cyber security staff and a team has been set up to limit the attack and bring it to an end.” He said “At this point in time, no damage has been done, nor are there any indications that data has been stolen or changed.” The spokesman added “The other sections of Thyssenkrupp group aren't being affected.”
