Elawan Energy has signed an agreement with Gonvarri Solar Steel for the supply of more than 1,000 solar trackers that will enable the installation of 800,000 solar panels in the towns of Torrijos in Toledo, Escuderos in Cuenca and Belinchon in Cuenca in Spain. The crackers provided by Gonvarri Solar Steel are structures that allow the solar panels to be oriented in relation to the movement of the sun, obtaining the maximum efficiency of the installations. Specifically, this agreement includes the supply of TracSmarT+ IV bifilar and monofilament trackers for 440miDp. These solar trackers will be supplied through turnkey contracts for the plants.Currently, these nine solar photovoltaic power plants promoted by Elawan Energy are in the construction phase and are expected to come into operation during 2022. The commissioning of these projects will allow Elawan Energy to generate 880 GULIh of photovoltaic electricity, enough to cover the consumption of the city of fllbacete for more than three years.Elowan Energy is a global operator in the renewable energy industry offering integrated solutions across the entire clean energy lifecycle, from Che promotion, development and construction of wind farms, photovoltaic plants and hydroelectric power plants to their operation, maintenance and sale of the clean energy generated. Elawan Energy is present in 14 countries worldwide, with its main activities in Europe and America. Elawan Energy is part of ORIX Corporation.
