Hoa Phat witnessed the delivery of 555,000 metric tons of steel in July, against 633,000 metric tons of crude steel, a surge of 22% compared to the antecedent month. Sales volume of construction steel, hot rolled coil steel and steel billet reached 555,000 metric tons, up % compared to the previous month. In which, Hoa Phat's HRC recorded 291,000 metrictons, the highest since the beginning of the year and increasing 16% compared to June 2023. Hoa Phat sold 261,000 metric tons of construction steel products, reducing 9% compared to June, mainly due to weak demand and unfavorable weather conditions for construction activities.In July, Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Company achieved an output of 74,000 metric tons, posting 22% year-on-year increase. Galvanized steel sheet of all kinds recorded 32,000 metric tons, up 81% compared to corresponding period last year.In the first 7 months of the year, Hoa Phat Group produced nearly 3.5 million metric tons of crude steel, reduced 30% compared to the same period in 2022. Sales of steel products reached 3.46 million metric tons, representing 23%year-on-year decrease.
