Mr. Bui Van Tiep, the Director of HRC Steel Rolling Factory at Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel JSC, revealed that the company had already reached 5 million metric tons of HRC production in August 2022. That was during the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Hoa Phat Group's establishment. The figure has since increased to 8 million metric tons as of October 2023.
The company has been focusing on technological advancements to boost its production capabilities. Specifically, the factory invested in roll forming machine No. 3, launched in November 2022. This new addition increased roll forming capacity and ensured continuous production.
Earlier this year, in January 2023, the factory also completed the installation and test run of an F5 rolling rack. This enabled them to thin the HRC from 1.5mm to 1.2mm. The introduction of this rolling rack has not only improved the quality of the products but also enhanced productivity and efficiency.
Hoa Phat's HRC products offer a wide variety of types. These include low carbon steel grades like SAE1006, SAE1008, S235JR, SPHC, SPHD, BJPC, SPHT1, and medium carbon steel grades such as SS400, S275, S355, SAE1017, and SS36. They also produce according to specific ASTM standards. Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Integrated Complex offers products in a wide range of widths, catering to both domestic and international clients.
