IMIDRO Reports

growth in the production of iron ore concentrate, pellet and direct reduced iron during the first seven months of the current fiscal year, March 20-Octoer 21. A total of 28.82 million tonnes of iron ore concentrate were produced during the first seven months of the fiscal year, marking a 4% increase compared with the same period of last year. The pellet output of major steel mills amounted to 26.819 million tonnes in the seven-month period, posting a growth of 10% compared with the same period of previous year. The production of direct-reduced iron stood at 18.120 million tonnes during the seven months, up by 10% YOY.
