The Indonesian Ministry of Finance has extended the imposition of a safeguard measure on imports of l-section and H-section of other alloy steel for another two years. The safeguard duty rate for the period from 22 December 2022 to 21 December 2023 is 17.00%, and that for the period from 22 December 2023 to 21 December 2024 is 16.75%. The products involved are l-section with a height of 100mm to 600mm, and H-section with a height of 100mm to 350mm, of other alloy, hot-rolled, hot-drawn, or extruded, whether or not further worked, classified under HS codes 7228.70.10 and 7228.70.90.
