Turkish Dunya has reported that preliminary work has started for the reconstruction of earthquake hit 10 provinces in Turkey. While a situation survey was conducted to determine whether there would be a problem in the supply of materials for the completion of the constructions, steel and cement producers associations have confirmed they have sufficient capacity.Turkish Iron & Steel Producers Association TDÇÜD Secretary General Mr Veysel Yayan said that “At the Council of Ministers meeting, we were asked whether there is a capacity to meet the need for 4 million tonnes of rebar in 4 months, and the capacity of our industry is more than capable of meeting this.
