ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Limited has entrusted John Cockerill India Limited, formerly known as CMI FPE Limited, for supply of two new steel processing lines to be installed at the client's Hazira Works. In consortium with its other Group entities, John Cockerill India Limited is to supply a Continuous Galvanizing and Annealing Line, CGAL, and a new Continuous Galvanizing Line, CGL. The total value of contract for scope of work to be executed by John Cockerill India Limited exceeds INR 1000 crores.Belgian John Cockerill completed the acquisition of Flat Products Equipments (India) Limited in June 2008. John Cockerill has acquired a global leadership position in the design, manufacture, erection and commissioning of Cold Rolling Mill Complexes, Processing Lines, Chemical equipment, industrial furnaces and auxiliary equipments for the world wide steel industry.
