The plant with an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tonne of billets will produce high-quality steel billets up to 130-200 mmThe company also aims to commission its steel wire rod and rebar mill with an annual capacity of 400,000-700,000 tonnes in the third quarter of this year.Kardemir is a Turkish steel producer with a production capacity of 3.5 million tonnes per year. Its main plant is located at Karabük in the Black Sea region of Turkey. Construction of the complex started in 1937 and finished in two years. Having functioned as a state-owned company for decades, Kardemir was privatized in 1995.
