The KOCKS Reducing & Sizing Block will be crucial in achieving the highest dimensional tolerance for SBQ straight bars, varying from Ø 20.00 to 90.00 mm. This equipment will be positioned after 21 H/V-stands in the rolling mill.
Included in the scope of the supply are remote control adjustments and roll shop equipment. Moreover, the BAMICON Octopus software will facilitate operators in stand and guide preparation, thereby optimizing the tooling process.
The commissioning of this state-of-the-art equipment is planned for the end of 2024, providing enough time for both partners to prepare and optimize all functionalities.
