Italian steel processor Liberty Magona is targeting extension of its product and market portfolios due to increased production capacity after the restart of idled finishing lines in Italy. Reports suggest that Liberty Magona will wider, the range of pre-painted and galvanised steel products as well as increase production of pre-painted flats in 2022. That becomes possible after the restart of Magona's long idled pickling line in 2019 and painting line No1 in 2020. Increased production capacity has already allowed the company to have higher sales of pre-painted fiats last year and significantly extend its sales geography gaining new customers both in Europe and outside the region.
