Mechel-Service supplied for the construction of the complex over 600 tonnes of beams produced by the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant. The steel I beam has a high load-bearing capacity with a low specific weight as its flanges distribute the load and reduce the risk of structural failure. For the production of an I-beam, carbon or low-alloy steel grades are used.
