Interfax Ukraine reported that Ukrainian mining and metallurgical group Metinvest has decided to liquidate its divisions in the Russia & Belarus. Metinvest CO Mr Yuriy Ryzhenkov in an interview with NV Business said “Since February 24, a decision was made to liquidate companies in Russia and Belarus. We only have sales assets there: Metinvest Eurasia and the Belarusian Metinvest Distribution. There are operational teams that have been given instructions for liquidation.”He said “Top managers, managers, specialists who were citizens of Belarus or the Russian Federation worked in the group. Many of them have worked for the company for more than 10 years. After the 24th, most of them were either released or released themselves. The remaining units are mostly those who condemn what is happening. Someone got another citizenship.”Metinvest is a vertically integrated group of mining and metallurgical enterprises. The group's enterprises are located mainly in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The main shareholders of the holding are the SCM group 71.24% and Smart-holding 23.76%, which jointly manages it. Metinvest Holding LLC is the management company of the Metinvest group.
