Russian steel maker Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works and GMCS have launched an important project to modernize the optimization planning system for production and economic activities of PJSC MMK and the companies of the PJSC MMK Group. The goal of the project is to build a new optimization planning model based on a unified platform IBM ILOG and IBM Planning Analytics and to obtain additional business benefits from improving planning processes. The synthesis of highly intelligent mathematical tools with improved business processes, provided during the project, will increase the efficiency of the production and economic activities of the enterprise. In turn, an increase in production and sales efficiency inevitably leads to an improvement in the company's financial performance.Modernization of the optimization planning system will shorten the planning business cycle, ensure seamless integration with the budgeting system and other MMK subsystems, and provide the ability to quickly generate analytical reports with drill down.The project is designed for 12 months.
