Ms Leena Craelius has been appointed CFO at Swedish steel maker SSAB. She has held the position as acting CFO since 1 November 2021 and has previously held several senior positions at SSAB since she joined the company in 2005. She will take up her new position immediately and will be based in Stockholm.Ms Craelius holds an MBA in Finance from Helsinki School of Economics and a BBA in International Business from Häme University of Applied Sciences. SSAB AB, earlier Svenskt Stål AB, is a Swedish company, formed in 1978 and specialises in processing raw material to steel. The largest shareholders are Aktiebolag Industrivärden and the Government of Finland. SSAB’s aim to largely eliminate carbon-dioxide emissions from its own operations in around 2030.
