European leader in Special Steel Long Products Spanish Sidenor has entered into a renewable energy supply agreement for its production plants. According to this agreement, which will last 10 years, Naturgy will supply Sidenor with electric energy produced from renewable sources. Sidenor will obtain an energy supply amounting to 350 GWh per year, coming from renewable, solar and wind energy, within the framework of a power purchase agreement. This is a step further in Sidenor’s commitment to the fight against climate change and to the decarbonisation of its processes by using green energy in its production facilities. Sidenor has production centers in the Basque Country, Cantabria and Catalonia and has commercial delegations in Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom, where more than 1,500 people work.
