In a momentous collaboration, Nextracker Inc, a renowned global leader in utility-scale solar trackers, and MSS Steel Tubes USA, a joint venture of Metalogalva and Soufer, have announced the launch of a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Tennessee.
This facility, located in Memphis, will specialize in the production of low-carbon steel components for Nextracker's solar tracking systems, paving the way for 129 new job opportunities and generating substantial local economic investment.
The facility's dedicated tube mill will serve solar projects in Kentucky, South Carolina, Virginia, Mississippi, and Georgia. Tennessee-based Silicon Ranch, an industry pioneer in utility-scale solar in the Southeast, is spearheading many of these projects.
