Japanese steel giant Nippon Steel has relined the No 3 Blast Furnace at Nagoya Works from January to June 2022 and has decided to start of operations of the by around the end of August 2022. Nippon Steel said “We will continue to respond to changes in global and domestic steel demand, and will implement prompt and appropriate manufacturing.”Nippon Steel Corporation has decided to reline the No 3 blast furnace of its Nagoya Works in June 2020 in order to maintain and further enhance competitiveness of the Nagoya Works’ upstream integrated production, which is a key to appropriately respond to customer needs and to prevail jointly with customers in global competition.
