Continuing on the growth trajectory, India’s largest iron ore miner NMDC has produced 3.2 million tonnes & sold 2.65 million tonnes of iron ore in May 2023.Iron ore production in May 2022 iss 14.3% higher than the 2.8 million tonnes produced in May 2021.NMDC’s cumulative production during April-May 2022 stood at 6.35 million tonnes, a 7.4% YoY growth from the cumulative production of 5.91 million tonnes in April-May 2021. NMDC has sold 5.77 million tonnes in April-May 2023
