Olympic Steel, a key metals service center, appoints Zachary J. Siegal as President of Manufactured Metal Products. This strategic move aims to diversify the company's portfolio by emphasizing the expansion into end-use manufactured metal goods. Siegal, with a rich history within the company, is poised to drive growth by leading various operations under this new business segment.


Cleveland-based Olympic Steel Inc. announces the elevation of Zachary J. Siegal to the role of President – Manufactured Metal Products. Siegal's journey within the company, starting as a Quality Engineer in 2007 and progressing through diverse leadership roles, culminates in this pivotal position steering Olympic Steel's foray into manufactured end-use products.

His tenure includes instrumental roles in strategic acquisitions and overseeing the Company's growth trajectory as the Vice President – Strategic Development. Siegal's primary focus remains on mergers and acquisitions, leveraging his extensive experience within the organization.

In this newly minted role, Siegal assumes leadership of Olympic Steel's Manufactured Metal Products business group, encompassing diverse operations like McCullough Industries (WRIGHT®), Metal-Fab, Shaw Stainless & Alloy, and EZ-Dumper®. Reporting directly to Andrew S. Greiff, President and COO, these operations will maintain their financial reporting through respective carbon and specialty metals segments.

Richard T. Marabito, CEO of Olympic Steel, acknowledges Siegal's vital contributions in identifying and acquiring high-quality companies within the manufactured metals sector. The strategic shift towards manufactured end-use products marks a significant milestone, with Siegal's expertise poised to fuel accelerated growth in this segment.

Andrew S. Greiff emphasizes the company's core competencies and aims to curtail cyclicality inherent in traditional distribution through the foray into manufactured metals. Siegal's academic credentials, including a finance degree from Miami University and a Master's in Business Management from Fordham University, alongside his industry-specific education from MSCI's SMMP program, underpin his readiness for this leadership role.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Siegal's commitment extends to community involvement through roles in Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital Leadership Council and Olympic Steel's ESG Steering Committee.
