OMK Pipe Elements for Thermal Power Plant in Krasnoyarsk
The United Metallurgical Company OMK will supply 315 tonnes of hot reheat pipeline elements by the end of 2021 for the largest thermal power plant in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Berezovskaya GRES branch of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Yugra, part of Unipro. All products will be manufactured at OMK's Belgorod plant. Most of the scope of delivery will be straight and bent pipes of large diameter 920 and 930 mm with a wall thickness of 32, 36, 42 mm and shaped parts (tees) with an estimated resource of 200 thousand hours. They will be produced by electroslag smelting from heat-resistant steel and used for the installation of pipelines with high steam parameters (pressure up to 4.1 MPa, temperature up to 545 ° C). The first shipment of the plant's products to the customer is scheduled for August 2021.
Belenergomash is the only enterprise in the country that produces pipes and pipeline parts for thermal and nuclear power facilities using the electroslag smelting method. This allows us to manufacture pipes of non-standard standard sizes by diameter and wall thickness
Belgorod Power Engineering Plant OMK is one of the leading power plant engineering enterprises in Russia, for over 80 years it has been supplying integrated solutions for the nuclear and thermal power, gas, petrochemical, industrial and civil construction.
