Russian pipe maker United Metallurgical Company OMK’s Blagoveshchensk Plant in Republic of Bashkortostan for the third time acted as a partner of the International Winter Games in Ufa, well was timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University (UGNTU). Amateur skier’s teams of students from Egypt, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and other countries took part in the ski race. Together with them, schoolchildren, college students and employees of more than 30 partner organizations went to the track.OMK Blagoveshchensk Plant has been cooperating with the UGNTU for many years, including on the employment of graduates. For the first time, the International Winter Games in UGNTU were held in 2021. The tradition began with international students from Africa, Latin America and Asia who first saw snow in Ufa and started cross-country skiing.
