PERMA-PIPE has been awarded a contract from LLOG Exploration Offshore to supply 5.1 miles of subsea insulated pipeline for the Dome Patrol Field in the Gulf of Mexico. The contract scope awarded to PERMA-PIPE covers overseeing engineering support, pipe coating, and supplying FLOW-THERM pre-insulated pipe system. The project will utilize FLOW–THERM, formerly Auto-Therm, a glass syntactic polyurethane that is PERMA-PIPE's most popular thermal insulation product suitable for temperatures up to 108 degree Celcius. The project will be executed at our New Iberia, Louisiana facility with the delivery of Q2 2021.FLOW-THERM is high efficient, cost-effective, and with excellent compressive resistance when used on subsea flowlines, risers, field joints, and equipment, including jumpers, pipeline end terminations, pipeline end manifolds, and inline structures shrouds, and doghouses for deep and ultra-deepwater requirements.
