The Public Enterprises Selection Board has recommended the name of Mr Atanu Bhowmik for the post of Director in-charge of Rourkela Steel Plant of the Steel Authority of India Limited. Mr Bhowmik, who is currently posted as the Executive Director of SAIL’s Bokaro Steel Plant, has earlier worked with the RSP at senior positions. Prior to his posting as ED Bokaro Steel Plant, Mr Bhowmik was the General Manager Blast Furnace at RSP.Mr Bhowmik is an alumnus of the National Institute of Technology, erstwhile Regional Engineering College, Rourkela.The PESB interviewed eight candidates for the post of RSP’s Director in-charge post.
