Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited has created a record by achieving a daily hot metal production of 16,250 tonnes on 20 January 2023 from Blast Furnace 1 Godavari & Blast Furnace 2 Krishna combined, best daily production from both blast furnaces since inception, at more than 100% capacity utilisation.The previous best daily hot metal production of 16,200 tonnes was achieved from Blast Furnace 1 & 2 combined on 8 December 2022
