Indian state owned steel giant Steel Authority of India Limited, which is celebrating the company’s fifty years of incorporation this year in 2022 as SAIL was incorporated on 24th January 1973, Chairperson Ms Soma Mondal launched a new commemorative logo to highlight the essence of SAIL’s company logo while bringing out the spirit of fifty years of journey of this company. On this momentous day of Golden Jubilee logo launch, SAIL also declared financial results for FY 2021-22, during which revenue crosses INR 100,000 crore marks and the company achieved best ever profitability in the 50 year history. SAIL said “This record-breaking performance in FY’22 is a result of synergy across the Organization. However, the fourth quarter could not be fully insulated from the unprecedented rise in input costs, especially the price rise of imported coking coal on account of various reasons. Notwithstanding the challenges, the Company has taken several proactive steps to contain costs.
