Russia’s leading pipe maker Pipe Metallurgical Company TMK has expanded its capabilities as a supplier of integrated engineering solutions through the acquisition of a controlling stake in the Chelyabinsk Metal Structures Plant. CZMK is one of the leading enterprises for the production of steel building structures and specializes in the manufacture of prefabricated structures for industrial buildings, transport infrastructure and public structures. The production facilities of the plant include four prefabricated welding shops equipped with modern automated equipment. The structure of the CZMK includes five design bureaus. The company employs more than 1,700 people. CZMK traces its history back to 1942. Most of the plant's projects are related to the construction of buildings and structures of metallurgical and machine-building enterprises, technological complexes of the energy and mining industries in Russia and abroad. In the field of urban construction, the number of significant objects built with the participation of the ChZMK included the large sports arena "Luzhniki", the Moscow International House of Music, the Ostankino TV Tower, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, the terminal of the International Airport of Yekaterinburg Koltsovo, the central Olympic stadium "Fisht" in Sochi and other complex architectural structures.
