Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanization announced that Turkish cold-rolled stainless steel producer Trinox Metal's project to increase its stainless steel cold rolling capacity has received Environmental Impact Assessment. The EIA was started in mid-February and approval is expected to allow the project to accelerate. Within the scope of the project which has an investment cost of USD32.25 million, Trinox Metal will raise its stainless steel cold rolling capacity to 142,000 tonnes from the current 50,000 tonnes by modernizing its lines. Within the scope of this capacity increase, production will be increased by making revisions in the production lines without making any changes in the existing project area and indoor area.It’s production facilities of DAIYANG METAL, which is Turkey's first cold rolling stainless steel producer, started its operations in 2007;. TRINOX METAL has been producing stainless steel flat plates since 2014. Trinox's production facilities are located in Tekirdag, in the European Free Zone area in an area of 80,000 square meters. The company produces cold rolled stainless steel coils in 304(L), 309, 316(L), 420, 430, 439, 441 etc with BA, 2B, Scotch Bright, No 4 & Linen surface finishes in 0.3-2.0mm X 1300mm 2B &0.15-1.2mm X 800mm in BA finish
