UK’s Trade Remedies Authority provisional findings, contained in the Statement of Essential Facts, would mean that this UK industry, predominantly based in South Wales, continues to be protected from dumped products from China and Russia. The review did not consider Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and associated sanctions</p><p>The anti-dumping measures were first put in place in 2016, following a decision by the European Commission, with duties ranging as high as 36.1%. British authorities maintained the duties following the UK’s exit from the EU in 2020.</p><p>TRA said that 40-50% of the cold rolled flat steel in Britain is made domestically, with the rest coming from imports.</p>
