US DOC Determines ADDuty Margins on Rectangular Pipes from Mexico

The US Department of Commerce has preliminarily determined that Maquilacero and Tecnicas de Fluidos and Regiomontana de Perfiles y Tubos made sales of light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from Mexico at less than normal value during the period of review 1 August 2020 to 31 July 2021. US DOC is also rescinding this review for 14 companies where timely requests for withdrawals were filed by all parties who requested their review. US DOC has invited interested parties to comment on these preliminary results. US DOC preliminarily determined that following estimated weighted average dumping margins existMaquilacero & Fluidos – 3.11%Regiomontana de Perfiles- 4.47%Perfiles – 3.79%Productos Laminados – 3.79%On 5 August 2008, US DOC published the antidumping duty order on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from Mexico in the Federal Register. On 2 August 2021, US DOC published a notice of opportunity to request an administrative review of the Order. On 7 October 2021, based on timely requests for reviews, US DOC initiated an administrative review of the order covering 18 companies. On 27 October 2021, US DOC selected Maquilacero/TEFLU and Regiopvtsa for individual examination as the mandatory respondents in this administrative review.US DOC received a timely-filed withdrawal request from Nucor Tubular Products on 5 January 2022, withdrawing its request for 14 companies and US DOC is rescinding this review of the order with respect Aceros Cuatro Caminos, Arco Metal, Fabricaciones v Servicios de Mexico, Galvak, Grupo Estructuras y Perfiles, Industrias Monterrey, Intemacional de Aceros, Nacional de Acero, PEASA-Productos Especializados de Acero, Talleres Acero Rev, Ternium Mexico, Tuberias Aspe, Tuberia Laguna and Tuberias v Derivados. However, Perfiles and Productos Laminados de Monterrey remain subject to this review.
