The US International Trade Commission has determined that revoking the existing countervailing duty order on imports of heavy Walled Rectangular Welded Carbon Steel Pipes & Tubes from Turkey and antidumping duty orders on heavy Walled Rectangular Welded Carbon Steel Pipes & Tubes from Korea, Mexico and Turkey would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. As a result of the ITC’s affirmative determinations, the existing orders on imports of this product from Korea, Mexico and Turkey will remain in place. On 5 November, 2021, the Commission determined that the domestic interested party group response to its notice of institution of the subject five-year reviews was adequate and that the respondent interested party group response was inadequate. The Commission did not find any other circumstances that would warrant conducting full reviews. Accordingly, the Commission determined that it would conduct expedited reviews The merchandise covered is certain welded carbon quality light-walled steel pipe and tube, of rectangular (including square) cross section, having a wall thickness of less than 4 mm. The welded carbon-quality rectangular pipe and tube is currently classified under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States subheadings 7306.61.50.00 and 7306.61.70.60.
