US Department of Commerce has initiated the anti-dumping duty investigations on steel nails from India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Turkey, as well as countervailing duty investigations on same products from India, Oman, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Turkey. The US International Trade Commission is scheduled to make its preliminary determinations of both investigations on 14 February 2022.These AD and CVD investigations were launched based on a complaint filed by the petitioner Mid Continent Steel & Wire Inc.The products involved are under HTSUS subheadings 7317.00.5501, 7317.00.5502, 7317.00.5503, 7317.00.5505, 7317.00.5507, 7317.00.5508, 7317.00.5511, 7317.00.5518, 7317.00.5519, 7317.00.5520, 7317.00.5530, 7317.00.5540, 7317.00.5550, 7317.00.5560, 7317.00.5570, 7317.00.5580, 7317.00.5590, 7317.00.6530, 7317.00.6560, and 7317.00.7500.
