American Iron & Steel Institute announced that in the week ending on 26 March 26 2022, US’s domestic raw steel production was 1,726,000 net tons while the capability utilization rate was 79.4 percent. Production was 1,768,000 net tons in the week ending March 26, 2021 while the capability utilization then was 78.0 percent. The current week production represents a 2.4 percent decrease from the same period in the previous year.
