Production was 1.834 million net tons in the week ending 14 May 2021 while the capability utilization then was 81.0%. Last week’s production represents a 2.7% decrease from the same period in the previous year. Production for the week ending 14 May 2022 is up 0.5% from the previous week ending 7 May 2022 when production was 1,777 million net tons and the rate of capability utilization was 81.4%.North East: 178 KNTGreat Lakes: 559 KNTMidwest: 197 KNTSouthern: 779 KNTWestern: 72 KNTTotal: 1785 KNTAdjusted year-to-date production through 14 May 2022 is 33.410 million net tons, at a capability utilization rate of 80.2%.
