The current week production represents a 44.2% increase from the same period in the previous year. Production for the week ending June 12, 2021 is down 0.3% from the previous week ending June 5, 2021 when production was 1,840,000 net tons and the rate of capability utilization was 82.3%. Adjusted year-to-date production through June 12, 2021 was 41,380,000 net tons, at a capability utilization rate of 78.5%. That is up 13.2 percent from the 36,564,000 net tons during the same period last year, when the capability utilization rate was 67.8%.
