American Iron & Steel Institute announced that in the week ending on 15 October 2022, US’s domestic raw steel production was 1.688 million net tons while the capability utilization rate was 75.7%. Production was 1.836 million net tons in the week ending 15 October 2021 while the capability utilization then was 83.2%. The current week production represents 8.1% decrease from the same period in the previous year.
