The current week production represents a 0.7 percent increase from the same period in the previous year. Production for the week ending March 20, 2021 is down 0.5% from the previous week ending March 13, 2021 when production was 1,761,000 net tons and the rate of capability utilization was 77.7% Adjusted year-to-date production through March 20, 2021 was 19,626,000 net tons, at a capability utilization rate of 76.8%. That is down 6.2% from the 20,917,000 net tons during the same period last year, when the capability utilization rate was 79.6%.
